OSHA creates and implements standards for safety, Interior Investments created and installed furniture standards for OSHA.
With the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Congress created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.
In 2018, OSHA Naperville began their remodel. With more GSA furniture becoming available, the team helped select the most current and financially responsive pieces to achieve their desired design.
Using Herman Miller Canvas, they raised the outer panel on each workstation and added a glass stacker to achieve total privacy for the employees. Offices were fitted with Herman Miller Canvas complete with height adjustable desks for ergonomic working and National guest chairs. Despite the workstations having higher panels, the reception was left open to create a more inviting entryway. There is ample storage throughout the space which satisfied the necessity for places to put hard copy files.
