Big Bids for Big Talent

Interior Investments attended and bid at the IIDC Talent Auction to help raise funds for Interior Design in Illinois.

Interior Investments was excited to attend the Illinois Interior Design Coalition (IIDC) Talent Auction, especially since this was the last time this annual event will take place (at least for a few years).

Every year, the IIDC gets industry leaders across the board to volunteer their time in exchange for bids. A winning bid will get you a commitment of time to meet or collaborate with sought after leaders in top architecture and design firms. It will also give you the satisfaction of knowing you helped give back to the design community.

Jess Weber (aka Shonda Schwinn) served as the auctioneer and had quite a list of names to auction off some of which included individuals from CBRE, Interior Architects, Gensler, NELSON and more. Interior Investments was lucky enough to be able to "purchase" a talent and ended the night with Jason Rosenblatt from NELSON. The event, generously hosted by Mohawk Group, raised $10,275 to support advocacy efforts for interior design in Illinois. We are looking forward to spending time with Jason.
