Northwestern Mutual in Clayton, Missouri wanted to create a space to enhance client interactions and provide a professional and supportive work setting.
Northwestern Mutual is a group of financial advisors bringing all aspects of insurance and investments together. When they decided to remodel their Clayton, Missouri location they needed an office that would provide a collaborative work environment and create a space that reflected their brand and corporate values.
Northwestern Mutual chose Nehring Design who partnered with dealers including Interior Investments to bring the space to life. Nehring wanted to include classics that were comfortable and timeless to create a space that was authentic, modern and provided different destinations for heads-down-work or collaboration and client meeting spaces.
To achieve this, all of the iconic pieces from MillerKnoll, including, Eames Lounge Chairs, Crosshatch Chairs, Aeron Seating, Eames Molded Fiberglass Stools, and Tuxedo Sofas came together to beautifully transform the landscape of the office.
The 15,000 sq ft. space has become a communal hub for employees and guests with classic iconic furniture pieces and an impactful entry way weaved with Northwestern Mutual's 164 year history in a milestone mural.
