MillerKnoll Product Boot Camp
Interior Investments teams from Lincolnshire, Milwaukee & St. Louis get "schooled" at MillerKnoll's Product Boot Camp
Two to Three times a year, MillerKnoll hosts a Product Boot Camp where employees from dealerships across the country get to travel to Michigan and learn more about MillerKnoll and the products they offer clients. This year Interior Investments had the honor of sending 3 new employees from our Chicago and Lincolnshire offices and 2 employees from our St. Louis office. Brad, Gwen, Evan, Zach and Susie spent 3 days in Zeeland, Michigan learning about MillerKnoll products and competing for some amazing prizes.
Every morning at 7:15 AM the Interior Investments team, team Keusenkothen which was named after the channel manager from MillerKnoll in St. Louis, was on the bus from Zeeland, Michigan to the MillerKnoll warehouse in Holland, Michigan. Once at the warehouse, they spent all day in classes that ranged from one to two hours a piece. During these classes they would participate in team building activities, quizzes, games, challenges, presentations and improvisations competing for points. Each class was divided into sections that included different MillerKnoll products like Action Office, Canvas, Layout Studio, Design Within Reach and more.
The teams were monitored throughout their time at Boot Camp and they were awarded or deducted points based on promptness, preparedness and execution of their tasks. In order to get points, the teams had to demonstrate what they had learned during their time at boot camp, be on time and answer questions regarding different systems. Team Keusenkothen was on top of their game and ended up taking 1st place in the competition. Each member of their team went home with a brand new Apple watch as a token of their hard work.
